About Jessica Rakshys
Jessica is a principal and art director at Mercer. She has been with Mercer for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Mercer, Jessica worked as a graphic designer for Pall Corporation. Jessica is an art director that will bring a mix of artistic, marketing, and business expertise to any job while promoting your company brand and that of your valued clients. She is an experienced manager, who can inspire and be inspired by others to take creative efforts to the next level. Jessica had her start as a traditional graphic designer focusing on a variety of print pieces. However, as a visual designer, Jessica designs for a variety of platforms in the B to B or B to C space, which may include print, email, web, video, large scale events and presentations. She creates concepts, artwork and layouts for digital projects based on creative briefs and client meetings. Jessica also creates and develops multimedia (audio/video) content for campaigns, internal company announcements, product marketing videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects. Video work can include: developing production schedules, storyboarding, planning live video shoots (scout, select and reserve shoot locations), record and edit video and sound projects, including capturing/importing media, editing footage, creating and inserting motion graphics, adding music/vo/sfx. Jessica was one of the founding members of the business resource group for Accessibility and Inclusion at MMC companies. AIM’s mission is to be a voice for support, education and awareness around issues faced by the disability community, internally and externally. In 2013, Jessica helped found the Mowat Wilson Syndrome Foundation whose mission is to enhance the lives of people affected by Mowat-Wilson Syndrome by providing family support, raising awareness, and supporting research and education. She sits on the board of directors.
