ABOUT JESSICA NEU

With more than two decades of experience in public education, I am committed to fostering environments where students, staff, and communities thrive. I currently serve as the Director of Special Funds, overseeing key initiatives that expand access to high-quality programs and support districtwide improvement.During the 2024–2025 school year, I had the privilege of serving as Principal at James J. Flynn Elementary School. In this role, I drew upon my background in applied behavior analysis, instructional leadership, and curriculum design to empower educators, elevate student achievement and school attendance, and strengthen school culture.Previously, as Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the Perth Amboy School District, I led the development and implementation of innovative, data-driven instructional strategies that enriched teaching and learning across diverse educational settings. My leadership experience also includes serving in pivotal roles within Special Services, where I led initiatives that significantly increased inclusion rates and improved outcomes for students with disabilities. Under my direction, these programs earned both state and national recognition for advancing inclusive practices and delivering measurable student growth.I am deeply dedicated to creating student-centered learning environments and building strong, collaborative relationships with faculty, families, and community partners. My mission is to continue leading with purpose— inspiring others, strengthening programs, and driving meaningful educational experiences that support the whole child and elevate organizational excellence.
