ABOUT JESSICA NETTLES
Previously worked as a career specialist in higher education where I have developed a passion for helping others reach their dreams. In doing so, I have utilized my communication skills, coaching skills and knowledge of career services. While working, I became credentialed as a Career Development Facilitator. In August 2019, I transitioned from Career Services Specialist to Recruiter where I inspire students to attend the local community college. In addition to this role, I became a mentor for first generation college students through Upward Bound. In May 2022, I will be graduating with my Master\'s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with hopes of becoming a sex therapist. I attended the South Carolina Counselors Association Conference in 2021 where I presented How Feminist Therapist Can Work To Dismantle Patriarchal Barriers in Communities. In February 2022, I will present the topic, Can Comprehensive Sex Education Programs Change the Attitudes of Men and Women.
