Program over $16 million in foreign assistance funding for humanitarian programs in Central African countries (Nigeria, Chad, Central African Republic, and Cameroon). Monitor and evaluate program implementation through analysis of non-governmental organization (NGO) and international organization (IO) partner performance progress reports and field monitoring.•Report and track allegations of fraud, waste, abuse (including sexual exploitation), and misconduct in PRM programming. Analyze data in relation to reported risks, diversion, or fraud for trends and recommend actions to mitigate risk. Follow up with partners and document actions taken to address the allegations in PRM\'s project management platform PRiMES. Highlight reporting requirements for fraud, waste, and abuse allegations, as well as incidents of diversion and destruction, to partners throughout the award cycle to ensure compliance with existing obligations.•Monitored PRM-funded programs and met with NGO and IO partners, as well as the Refugee Coordinator team and BHA staff at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja and N\'Djamena via a ten-day field monitoring trip to Nigeria and Chad in August 2024. Reviewed risk mitigation strategies with partners and provided guidance on reporting requirements for fraud/abuse/corruption allegations resulting in more robust risk mitigation measures and improved oversight of humanitarian assistance programs. Reported findings and recommendations to the Bureau\'s Office of Assistance for Africa to improve program implementation, inform funding and policy decisions, and shape advocacy points.
