ABOUT JESSICA MERCADO
Hi, there! I’m Jess, and I am in the process of obtaining my MBA through The University of Arizona Global Campus. I currently work for SDG & E as a Permit Service Specialist II. The time I have spent with SDG & E has allowed me to gain insight into various fields of interest and actively provides me with the tools necessary to further expand on my skills and knowledge. In 2023, I completed my Project Management and Lean Six Sigma certification program through The University of San Diego, California, and have been able to apply what I have learned regarding process improvements, quality control, identifying and managing risks, and consistently communicating with all stakeholders until project completion. Before that, I graduated from Arizona State University in the fall of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Logistics Management and a minor in Sustainability. Through my work experience and ongoing education, I am confident that I have proven to be a hard-working, dedicated, and self-motivated individual who continuously seeks growth opportunities and faces challenges with a positive attitude.
