We were recognized as the 2025 Medium Market TV \"Station of the Year“ and are a 5x \"News Operation of the Year” - for coverage airing in 2024, 2022, 2021, 2020 and 2019- by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association.WMTV was awarded the RTDNA\'s coveted “Overall Excellence” Regional Edward R. Murrow Award in 2025, 2024 and 2022. Each year, since 2022, WMTV took home more top honors than any other news station in our division, including 9 Regional Murrows in 2025 alone.WMTV was a NAB ‘Service to America’ Award Finalist in 2022 and in 2021. Both station efforts originated in the WMTV newsroom.
