As the Global Employee Policy Manager at Western Union, I lead the strategy, development, and global harmonization of employee policies that support a workforce across more than 50 countries. I have designed and implemented regional employee handbooks for EMEA, LACA, APAC, and North America, and I oversee the global acknowledgment process to ensure compliance and consistency across all countries. My work ensures that policies align with local labor laws, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances, promoting clarity, inclusivity, and operational excellence.I work closely with HR leaders, Legal, Ethics, and cross-functional partners to address workplace concerns, background check escalations, and accommodation requests across multiple regions. I provide strategic consultation and coaching to HR Business Partners, people managers (including executives), and employees to support a fair, engaged, and high-integrity workplace.I currently lead a global HR policy transformation initiative that includes centralizing our policy repository and applying project management methodologies to monitor effectiveness, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. This work directly informs the design of HR programs, policies, and talent strategies at the site, country, and regional levels.In addition to policy leadership, I manage a global caseload of employee relations investigations and deliver compliance and employment law trainings.
