With over thirteen years of experience in accounting and finance, I\'m currently the Vice President of Accounting and Finance at Willow Oak Partners, a boutique private equity firm investing in operationally-intensive real estate through two funds focused on car wash investment opportunities. In this role, I lead a centralized team that supports both fund-level and portfolio-level accounting and finance activities for all operating businesses, designing and executing scalable systems, processes, and controls in a PE-backed environment without local leadership or finance teams at the portfolio level. Our work is highly hands-on and execution-oriented, focused on building infrastructure, improving data quality and visibility, and ensuring disciplined financial operations as the platform grows.Prior to Willow Oak Partners, I served as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Spiffy, a venture-backed on-demand car care services and technology company. Partnering directly with the CFO, I led accounting and finance through periods of growth, overseeing financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and systems implementations, including the ongoing development and integration proprietary technology, to support scale and operational efficiency.Earlier in my career, I was a Senior Manager in public accounting, where I specialized in auditing and advising auto dealerships nationwide, building a strong foundation in technical accounting, internal controls, and risk management.I’m passionate about leading high-performing finance teams, developing scalable systems and processes, and delivering strategic financial guidance in complex, growth-oriented environments.
