ABOUT JESSICA GRAY

As a board certified Family Medicine physician Dr. Jessica Gray is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients, with a special interest in women\'s and adolescent health. She currently works as the clinic medical director for the UMC Southwest Family Medicine Clinic and supervises five advanced practice providers. Dr. Gray also works as the Team Physician for the Texas Tech University Women\'s Basketball Team, where she oversees the medical needs of the NCAA Division 1 athletes and collaborates with other health professionals to ensure optimal performance and injury prevention.Dr. Gray also serves on several board positions and volunteers with multiple non-profits. She serves on the managing board for the Lubbock Children’s Health Clinic, a nonprofit clinic providing healthcare to Lubbock’s underserved pediatric population, and she sits on the community advisory board for the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health. Additionally, she is a Clinical Training Faculty for NEXPLANON, a contraceptive implant, where she educates and trains other providers on the safe and effective use of the product. She is passionate about preventive care, health maintenance, and medical education, and strives to empower women to make informed choices about their health.Besides her clinical and leadership roles, Dr. Gray is also an active educator and researcher. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, where she teaches and mentors medical students and residents. She has published multiple articles and presented on various topics related to Family Medicine and medical education. She is also the co-host of The Med Edit Podcast, a popular podcast that discusses current issues and trends in medicine and healthcare.
