Co-founder & Partner @Lab-Or
LAB-OR is a research and design practice serving both private and public sectors within the fields of architecture, landscape design, urbanism and media installations. Started in 2012 by Jessica Garcia Fritz and Federico Garcia Lammers in Brookings, SD, LAB-OR seeks out work that explores the design potential present in the exchange between rural and urban environments. This exchange is critical in exploring the relationship among landscape design, architecture, urbanism, and technology. Through this type of design approach we look to engage the socio-political and environmental conditions of rural and urban landscapes at multiple scales. We enjoy translating ideas through a collaborative process with clients and fellow designers.
