   Assist with communications, marketing and PR for Resilience Action Partners, a joint venture of Ogilvy and Michael Baker International. • Review hazard mitigation plans, research and write community profiles in resiliency planning and assist with communications geared toward public perception and action surrounding flood risk. • Coordinate training and promotional materials for federal and state clients in disaster mitigation,(flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, wildfires).• Coordinate requests from public forums that take place through the Risk MAP process (flood insurance, flood insurance rate maps) with the Customer and Data Service contract supported by IBM and Michael Baker International. • Act as a liaison for training federal partners in regions 8, 9 and 10 (Western U.S.) in topics such as external comms, working with local elected officials and the Risk MAP process that updates the country\'s flood maps. This is through FEMA\'s largest outreach and engagement contract, CERC,(Community Engagement Risk Communication). The CERC contract supports national, ​regional and local efforts that change the way communities understand and think about disaster risks, with the specific goal of helping communities take actions to increase ​their resilience to natural disasters.• Organize and facilitate FEMA\'s Outreach and Engagement Community of Practice which aligns regional staff and HQ on policy directives and ongoing project status updates.
