I chose a career in Human Resources because I believe that people are an organization’s greatest resource and drive the success of any company. I am passionate about my work because it allows me to think strategically to best drive people and business performance. I build strong, genuine working relationships and pride myself in balancing the competing interests of different stakeholders so that as a team we can come to the best solution. A lot of HR work is quite serious, but I’m not afraid to laugh at myself to cut the tension and help lighten the mood as we continue to work towards that best solution!Throughout my career as a strategic business partner, my success has been attributed to my ability of: • driving difficult conversations, • creating safe spaces for open and honest communication, • leading organizations through change, • integrating purpose, strategy, talent, and culture• driving employee engagement, • coaching leaders, • collaborating on organizational design, and • delivering exceptional HR services.I love HR and I’m excited to be a part of the evolution of this field as I continue to learn and grow!
