About Jessi Brooks
A dedicated employee with years of experience in Higher Education as well at the government/legal field for the State of Alabama. I can be a great leader when needed but also recognize when to follow others. I have a warm and out-going personality that lends itself well to working with donors and alumni. I am a motivated self-starter and I enjoy generating new ideas to cultivate and steward relationships. Since my start in donor relations I have created two new donor recognition societies, a stewardship plan for new and existing donors, a first-time donor packet and email plan as well as numerous stewardship pieces through both mail and email. I have created new information pieces to include with donors acknowledgements to grow and steward further gifts, designed mail solicitations for annual giving pieces and have thoughtful and creative new ways of stewarding donors and encouraging donor participation. I have also worked to identify, cultivate and steward gifts of all sizes for the University to include annual gifts, major gifts and legacy/planned gifts.
