About Jesse Cook

I started my education at Columbia Basin College, with the goal of earning a degree in radiology. After taking an intro to business course, I completely turned my focus towards earning a degree in Human Resource Management; I always knew that I wanted to help people, and I saw the opportunity to combine my passion with my career.After earning my AA, I began working on my Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management, as well as a second specialization in Business Management and Leadership. While attending Central Washington University, I worked full time with Walmart, both in a leadership role as well as an assistant to the personnel team. I went into a management internship with the Moses Lake, WA, Walmart, where I was responsible for hiring and onboarding new associates as well as learning to manage large teams of associates.I earned my Bachelor\'s Degree while double specializing in Human Resource Management, and Business Management and Leadership in 2019. I am currently an Assistant Manager at Walmart, where I am directly over a team of 60+ associates at any given time.This has given me experience with many different operating systems, such as Microsoft office and Google Docs. I am proficient with multiple HRIS systems, such as Kronos and Workday.
