About Jesse Hanssen
Additive manufacturing (3D Printing) is many things to many people. To some, it\'s the promise of a printer in every home helping individuals to create and innovate in their daily lives. To many of us, 3D printers offer more than a promise. Additive manufacturing is a real and present force that is changing the way businesses design, refine, and build their products. When I was designing aftermarket motorcycle parts at Klock Werks in 2006, I saw real-world applications for additive. I was able to use a Stratasys Titan to print several unique parts with complex geometries and install them directly onto what would become an award-winning bike as my first encounter with end-use parts. That exposure to additive manufacturing was a catalyst to my career. I provided technical sales support, training, and application consultation as a Stratasys application engineer. With my deep understanding of 3D printing technology and the many ways that additive can improve businesses, I moved into product management and helped deliver some of the most advanced, innovative 3D printers to market at Stratasys. As my family expanded, we moved back to our roots in the Sioux Falls area so that our kids could better know their grandparents and cousins. While managing the sales and marketing department at Sioux Corporation, I was able to help boost their sales and marketing performance and deliver innovative, energy efficient industrial products to the hands of their customers. When AdvancedTek offered me the opportunity to come back to additive manufacturing, I couldn\'t resist. Having worked with AdvancedTek previously, I was already aware of their dedication to the success and satisfaction of their customers. I am proud to be part of this amazing team and to apply my business and technical knowledge in a consultative approach to sales and service. My mission: to utilize my additive expertise to advance the profitability and competitiveness of Midwest businesses. I choose to accept!
