Lead the Software/Algo R&D team in NA focused on innovating across all company product lines in the 3–5-year timeframe and generating customer leads across Functions and Business Areas.• Leading and mentoring a team with 9 direct reports consisting of experts across multiple fields.• Addressing challenges and facilitating a positive working environment for direct reports, coaching technical skills and encouraging career development.• Driving innovation, idea creation, partnership identification and follow-through. Track record of always finishing within budget, even with frequent requests to cut budget companywide to meet cost targets.• Representing Company in several public events, University Partnerships, and internal cross-department executive functions. Often taking over representative duties for department director.• Working with executives and management across business areas to identify opportunities and synergies for cross-departmental collaboration. Leading transfer of products from research team to business areas, supporting initial customer acquisition scale-up phases.• Achieving consistently high performance ratings from all levels of review – direct reports, peers, direct management, and executive management.
