ABOUT JESSE EMMANUEL
I build data systems that help enterprise leaders make faster, more confident decisions. Currently at Marriott International, I lead EMEA-wide analytics for one of the world\'s largest hospitality companies architecting production-grade Power BI solutions, designing scalable semantic data models, and applying predictive analytics across HR, Finance, Operations, and Strategy functions across the region. My background spans the full data stack: from cloud infrastructure and data engineering to analytics and executive storytelling. I\'ve worked across global organisations in the UK, Canada, and Singapore designing AWS-based data pipelines, building backend data services, and transforming complex datasets into decisions that move businesses forward. What makes my perspective different: I understand data from the infrastructure up. Before becoming an analyst, I worked as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect and Data Engineer which means I don\'t just consume pipelines, I know how to build and fix them. That end-to-end understanding makes my analytics work faster, more reliable, and more trusted by engineering teams. I hold an MSc in Business Analytics from the University of Greenwich, where my thesis applied supervised machine learning to early prostate cancer risk detection a clinical ML project conducted at a university teaching hospital in Africa. That project sharpened my ability to turn messy, real-world data into models that actually matter.
