WHO IS JESSE CASTRO, aka America\'s Favorite Cybersecurity ExpertI\'m a student of adversity, and ironically I obtain many clients while they are going through some type of challenge.So I will frame what I do from that perspective. I obtained my pilots license and my Real Estate License because of some very adverse conditions. However, here is how it all started. My parents divorced when I was young and it had a profound impact on me. I was bitter and needed an escape. When I was 13 or 14 mom took us to get some school clothes. I will never forget it, as she handed me the most hideous pair of pants I had ever seen. The conversation as I remember it:Me: I\'m not wearing those!Mom: Jesse Ray then you get your ass out there and get a job and buy your own damn clothes.Me: FINE, I will!So I did, I sold subscriptions to a Colorado newspaper and was the number 1 in my area until I was 16. That allowed me to escape with my motorcycle into the hills around my house. All I needed was a full tank of gas and I would be gone. It was a great way for me to get lost in my world. I loved it. If I wasn\'t working which I soon realized I loved to do, I was out relaxing on my motorcycle in the hills around my house. Fast forward now to 1998, I lose my job, in I start my business, in 2005 I get a serious bout of burn out. In 2006 a couple employees take about worth of my clients and started their own business. In 2008 the economy tanked.and so much more between 2009 and today.Here is the moral of the story.Some things are going to be very uncomfortable, If you learn to embrace it, you will grow. Strength doesn\'t come from the things you can do, it comes from those things you didn\'t think you could ever over come. So, although it may sound bleak, they are so of the best times I have ever had. I have learned that adversity is a great educator. It will make you uncomfortable and that is when the magic happens.
