Lead review of clients overall estate plan and governing instruments and advise clients, clients\' attorneys, clients\' CPAs and other related professionals on technical and administrative content, as well as suggesting revisions and providing comments as necessary. Serve as a trusted resource on technical estate planning, administrative, and transfer tax issues. Create flowcharts, memorandums, and presentations summarizing estate plans. Manage assigned account base of wealth management clients by working with client service team, specialty internal groups, clients and their professional advisors to develop a thorough understanding of the client’s needs and goals. Exhibit thorough knowledge of governing documents and account agreements. Travel to and meet with clients, client advisors, Portfolio Managers, and Wealth Strategists regularly in order to review estate plans and offer holistic advice on client goals, and recommend changes to trust and estate documents as appropriate. Exhibit depth of knowledge of fiduciary duties and applicable laws, including trust and tax law, estate planning techniques, financial planning, asset management and prudent investment principles. Participate in Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and other professional organization meetings regularly to continue to increase professional knowledge, demonstrate technical knowledge, and grow relationships with other attorneys and referral sources in the industry. Internally, participate in Trust Acceptance Committee and review and comment on estate planning documents and assets and whether fiduciary appointment can and should be accepted. Trusted technical resource answering questions on an ad hoc basis regarding clients trust and estate planning documents, internal processes and procedures, and provides best practices on coordination between all internal and external estate planning factors.
