Since the first time I inserted a Boot Disk into my parents computer I’ve been fascinated with technology. Growing up my passion grew as I was the go family member / friend that everyone came to with questions and issues. I’ve restored corrupted system files, added RAM, piggybacked hard drives and guided new equipment purchases based off individual needs. As life moved on my path took me into Banking and Finance where I enjoyed many successful years of team leadership and customer service. With the onset of COVID and several significant life changes I took time to reflect and reevaluate where I had been and where I want to go. Through self-discovery I realized the direction I wanted to go.Rekindling my passion for Information and Technology I enrolled in Arizona State University’s Cybersecurity Boot Camp where I am a current student. While enrolled I have independently studied and completed Google’s IT Support Certificate program, Linux Essentials Certification, and CompTIA Network+ Certification. Currently I am independently studying for CompTIA PenTest+ in addition to CompTIA Security+. There is a wealth of knowledge in the world and the sky is the limit.Post Graduation I am actively seeking a position in the world of Cybersecurity where my new found skills and knowledge of Wireshark, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Cryptography, Risk Management, SIEM, Penetration testing, Hydra, John The Ripper, Kabana, Nessus, Azure, Windows / Linux Administration and Harding, Web Vulnerabilities and Hardening, Forensics, Network and Cloud security will be utilized to defend our company, communities, and country.
