About Jesse Thompson
After 27 years of service in the military, I found a new way to serve right here in our community as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. In the military, I worked in the supply and logistics field. I also enjoyed time as a recruiter, and an instructor. The common thread in my assignments was providing a service to Soldiers, whether it was ensuring that the Soldiers had the right equipment and supplies to complete a mission and return home safely, or ensuring that they had the knowledge and skills to perform their duties to standard. I found that while I was serving the nation, I was in essence serving those around me. Upon my retirement from the military, I realized that I wanted to continue to serve. It is with Edward Jones that I found the opportunity to continue to serve. It has been my experience both in and out of the military that we need to be ready, prepared, knowledgeable and trained for the unexpected. It is my privilege to get to know my clients as we work together on their financial goals which vary from person to person and family to family, whether those goals are preparing for retirement, living in retirement, sending children to college, or saving for the purchase of a new home. It is my duty to work with my clients and help them design and implement the right strategy to meet their goals. Even though my place of service has changed, the fulfillment I feel is the same.
