Joining Locana (pre-TRC acquisition) as its first dedicated content marketing hire during a period of rebrand, growth, and eventual acquisition, my role has been IC-first and strategy-led—building the company’s content foundation while remaining hands-on as a writer and storyteller.In the first phase, I partnered closely with executive leadership to define and create Locana’s brand voice, messaging architecture, and content strategy. I wrote all copy for a full website relaunch, translating complex geospatial and utility technologies into clear, audience-focused value stories. I also helped develop and align its first-ever product-focused content plan.As the company grew—and following acquisition by TRC—I was retained to support TRC’s Intelligent Grid Solutions (IGS) division as its sole dedicated senior content marketing manager, helping bring structure and consistency to content in a lean, fast-moving environment.What I focus on at TRC:• Building buyer-journey–aligned content strategies and roadmaps• Writing and shaping web, solution, and service-page content• Developing executive and solution-focused thought leadership• Partnering with executives, product leaders, and subject-matter experts to turn complex technology into clear, credible stories • Creating practical content processes that reduce ad-hoc work and improve cross-functional alignmentThis role reflects how I do my best work: combining strategic content planning with hands-on writing, operating as a trusted partner to technical and executive teams, and building content systems that scale.
