About Jesse Shaughnessy
I am an experienced educator and have served a number of roles within Norton Public Schools. From 20••••21 I was a social studies teacher where I taught all students with a variety of different skill sets while abiding by students\' individual educational plans (IEP, 504, etc.). From 20••••23 I was the Dean of Students where I administered discipline for all students 9-12 and create appropriate consequences for each individual student. Since July of 2023 I have served as an assistant principal where I have built on my role as Dean of Students and I have also found ways to create and promote positive behavior and improve the school culture. I also have experience in the implementation of MTSS, PBIS, UDL, and PBL.
