Three decades of surf industry experience and international relationships. Born in Australia, duel citizenship, constant world traveller based in Los Angeles.A competitive sponsored surfer early on, began editing Waves magazine in Australia at age 20. By 22 was editing Surfing magazine in the United States.Became the surfer’s representative on the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) tour in 1998, then media director for the next 6 years, attending all major events for 7 consecutive years, and still regularly attends events/industry gatherings.During this time also contributed to most international surfing publications, as well as websites, multiple video, Film and TV productions.Launched Australian surf lifestyle brand Insight, in USA May 2005, serving as CEO and then President for the next 6 years.Also worked in marketing for Peligroso Tequila, and VP of Marketing for Quiksilver\'s lifestyle brand, VSTR, as they both launched in 2011.Lived in Chile for a year+ sabbatical.Served on the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) and Life Rolls On (LRO) foundation, plus volunteered with Waves For Water (W4W) in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.Website commentary for the World Surf League (WSL) on multiple events in Brazil 2013-15.Worked with Global Surf Industries (GSI) in 2016 as their marketing communications manager.Magicseaweed Americas Brand manager, 2017Billabong\'s Iggy Pop Producer, 2017Puro Surf Academy, El Salvador, Brand Marketing and social media, 2018Lift Foils, West Coast ambassador / sales associate 2019Malibu Popoyo Surf Resort Nicaragua, surf marketing relationships, 2019USA Sales for The Surfboard Agency (MF Softboards, Aloha & elemnt brands), 20••••21A Walk On Water Surf Therapy Producer, USA 2023-PresentProud dad of a teenage surfing daughter
