I lead Shining Rock Ventures and am a board-level executive with three decades of global experience structuring catalytic capital and strengthening place-based financial institutions in rural America and emerging markets. My work aligns strategic governance, blended finance, and inclusive technology to build durable economic systems that advance long-term community resilience. I am a multi-generational Southern Appalachian. As fractional Chief Strategy Officer/Senior Strategy Advisor to Appalachian Community Capital (ACC), I currently support this intermediary serving 45+ CDFIs across Greater Appalachia, representing more than $4.5 billion in assets. I help advance ACC\'s strategic Vision 2030, support Western North Carolina small business recovery following Hurricane Helene, and advise on ACC\'s Resilient Capital Campaign.
