About Jesse Cochrane
My background is in protein engineering - I spent several years doing antibody development and structural biology work, then moved into gene therapy because it seemed like where the science was heading. More recently I\'ve shifted into research strategy and infrastructure, currently as VP of Research at the Lipedema Foundation, where I\'ve been building out the scientific program from the ground up: biobank, proteomics, clinical partnerships, grant portfolio. I\'m interested in the places where good science exists but the systems around it haven\'t caught up - whether that\'s rare disease, gene therapy, or how care gets delivered. Always glad to connect with people working on hard problems in similar spaces.
