My priorities and responsibility’s as the Parts Coordinator for Skyworks LLC (Nashville) is to report to the Branch Manager or Corporate Parts Manager and overall being accountable for: • managing the parts department and meeting the desired parts needs of customers, as well as the branch\'s short/long term down equipment, and the service department. • Create, Receive, and Process Purchase Orders/ Invoices • Supervise the completion and finalization process of any invoices and purchases orders. • Reviews the Open P.O. Report weekly to ensure accuracy and follow up on back ordered parts and out of date purchase orders • Include detailed, specific information on all POs - equipment’s Asset #, Mech / Name that requested the parts, and any other important details that may clarify or be helpful in regards to part tracking. • Maintain and track movement of parts, and report updates to the Service, Branch, or Corporate Parts Manager. Monitor for timely and accurate delivery of all part orders. • Frequently communicates with the Branch Manager, and Service Manager regarding vendor issues, back ordered parts, customer damage work order / invoices, and warranty repairs. •Responsible to close / finalize any Credit Purchase Orders, Credit Work Orders, Customer Damage Billing, Warranty Work Orders, etc • Control and monitor the inventory of parts and shop supplies to minimize loss of profit. • Order parts, yet cautious not to overstock, but taking advantage of bulk or quantity buying on fast moving inventory is key. • Process or receive part transfers to / from other branches. • Before ordering parts, I search to see if another branch potentially has the part that’s sought after. Other branches do the same as well. I periodically check my emails during my work day.(every 45mins). • Handles all shipping & receiving (UPS, FED EX, LTL Freight, etc) • Maintain a clean work area by keeping the parts rooms neat, and doing required housekeeping and updating as needed.
