As a dedicated Public Information and Communications Specialist with over five years of experience, Jessalynn Kenton-Johnson excels in developing and executing strategic communication plans that enhance community engagement, strengthen brand presence, and support organizational goals. In her role at Caesar Rodney School District, she combines a passion for storytelling with expertise in marketing, public relations, and graphic design to create impactful campaigns and events that resonate with the community. By day, Jessalynn is the powerhouse behind Caesar Rodney School District’s messaging magic, turning complex policies into plain-speak, elevating community engagement, and making even a rainy-day Rider Pride event feel like sunshine. She’s a master of the Oxford Comma, a Canva queen, and the kind of leader who builds archives and builds trust — with parents, staff, and students. A proud member of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), Jessalynn was recently honored with the 2025 Excellence in Publications and Digital Media Award for Branding/Image Package. This recognition reflects her commitment to crafting clear, consistent, and compelling communications that elevate any school district\'s image. Her experience includes organizing academic outreach programs, coordinating large-scale community and district events, and managing all aspects of district communications — from routine messaging to crisis response. She develops strategic messaging across platforms, ensuring that every communication reflects the district’s core values of excellence, transparency, and connection. A proud graduate of Goldey-Beacom College, Jessalynn holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She also serves as the Head Girls Swim Coach for Lake Forest High School, where she focuses on building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and mutual respect — inspiring athletes to take ownership of their growth both in and out of the pool. Passionate about creating a positive impact, Jessalynn continually seeks opportunities to learn, grow, and lead in innovative ways.
