Varied role assisting in both the wellbeing of animals and to support the day-to-day running of a busy animal hospital- Restraining animals for treatment, grooming, feeding and cleaning- Inpatient care including TPRs- Autoclave room assistance: preparing surgical kits, setting up theatre, cleaning kits according to protocol-Carrying out basic in-house lab tests : running pre-GA Skylas, colleting urine samples, testing urine, packaging samples, running minimum databases (PCV, TP, GU, BUN)- Dispensing of medications- Working on reception- Answering OOH calls and able to give the appropriate advice or assistance- Helping to keep the clinic clean and tidy, and to ensure high cleanliness throughout.
