ABOUT JESS DAWSON
Head of Video at Secret Media Network (UK). Managing a team of videographers across the UK and also creating my own viral content across our ever-growing social media channels at Secret London. Obsessed with social media creation, I have a knack for finding brilliant stories and locations, deriving original ideas for the various branches of the company and constantly experimenting with new style guides, narratives and tone to solidify the Secret Media Networks as leaders in our field. Since joining in 2022, I\'ve completely overhauled the UK\'s video output with our new style of phone-first videography, putting authenticity and personality first. The stats speak for themselves: we\'re now regularly getting views as a minimum at Secret London compared to an average of prior to my employment, and Secret Manchester\'s views doubled in the space of my first three months. I\'ve also implemented a solid set of working practices from scratch to get the best out of our teams and stay on top of the ever-changing landscape we work in. I\'m proud to be part of the disabled community. It gives me the ability to think of different ideas and instates a powerful drive in me to cover the stories of underrepresented groups.
