ABOUT JESS RUSH
Award-winning transgenre writer with bilingual (English-French) work published transatlantically. Interdisciplinary artist-entrepreneur with 10+ years\' professional experience specializing in fashion, performance, and boudoir photography, most recently at Paris and NY Fashion Weeks. Passionate educator with professional working proficiency in French and bachelor’s degrees in English, French, and Gender, Sexuality, & Intersectionality Studies from Connecticut College. Long-term goals include earning an MFA in poetry and a PhD in linguistic sociology and/or translation studies; publishing writing; and further aligning with feminist, queer, and intersectional movements to enact change via language and creative direction. Having studied abroad for much of my undergraduate career between la Sorbonne Nouvelle, the American University of Paris, and the University of Edinburgh, I aspire to continue my academic and artistic endeavors on an international scale.
