In my role as chairman I\'m involved in- Strategic planning- Compensation practices- Management development- Sales, marketing & branding- High-level finances and funding- High-level IT- M&A, joint venture pursuits and relationsFrom 2011 until 2017 I served as the vice chairman of the Association of Translation Companies in the UK (ATC), and from 2013 until 2017 on the board of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), the last year as chairman of the board. I greatly enjoyed the privilege and challenge of working with highly skilled and committed translation industry professionals to enhance and strengthen the role of translators, translation companies and the associations representing them.I\'ve been a member of two different CEO peer groups in to help me strengthen my leadership/managerial skills and generally broaden my commercial/business knowledge.
