ABOUT JESIKA KULA

Helping humans lead better, in classrooms, boardrooms, and beyond As an educator and interdisciplinary thinker, I prepare students and organizations to navigate complexity, uncertainty, and change. My work blends systems thinking, design thinking, and futures thinking to spark curiosity, shift mindsets, and build capacity for action. By day, I teach in higher ed, guiding students through the messy work of tackling wicked problems. Beyond the classroom, I support government, private, and nonprofit organizations in leading people-centered change and reimagining what\'s possible. I do this through bringing my improv background into my work, not just for fun (though it is), but as a powerful tool for building empathy, deepening human connection, and helping teams stay adaptable in the face of the unknown. What I focus on: • Teaching students how to build confidence • Helping organizations lead meaningful, people-centered change • Designing active, inclusive, and interdisciplinary learning experiences • Exploring how to teach complex & wicked problem-solving to first-time changemakers • Using systems, design, and futures thinking, and improv to unlock new ways of thinking and connecting If you’re reimagining education, designing for impact, or navigating change inside your organization, let’s connect!
