Built a data team to develop a new data warehouse solution centered around S3 & Snowflake as well as leveraged Airflow and Fivetran. The goal is to derive values out of the integrated data from web traffic, marketing, sales, product and support- Led a backend team that builds GraphQL API and services in Golang for the DBaaS web console and the Terraform provider- Drove the implementation of API performance monitoring and usage analytics- Acted as a PM when needed to define the requirements for a major refactoring of the invoicing and billing services that put proper control by finance in place- Expanded the team that built the Rust-based open-sourced hyperfunctions - a library of mostly analytic functions such as time_weighted average and hyperloglog for approximate distinct count- Defined a transparent process for planning Timescale’s upstream contribution to PostgreSQL.
