Make decisions on reduction in force, drive accountability to MMs to own their decisions and treat their area of responsibility as a true business. All decisions are made to best control cost, and drive profit of total business. Plans, directs, implements, and administers human resources policies and activities such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, and communications for an assigned group of employees in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • Directs and manages labor relations issues including negotiations and grievances • Partners with SVP as a consultant on all decisions. Directly involved in all strategic decision within region. • Approve changes to branch budgeted headcount, base changes, transfers, new hires, and any other strategic planning around employees or employee groups laws – approval all terminations, demotions, and corrective actions. • Assist Regional Sales and Operations team to maintain the proper team needed to achieve sales goals and control costs. • Communicate and implement new and existing HR policies, programs, and corporate initiatives within region (e.g, merit process, exit surveys, benefits open enrollment, employee referral program, etc.) •Coach and counsel employees and managers; review documentations and discipline, approve terminations. •Responsible for investigation of complaints and integrity line calls – utilize team to resolve. •Ensure Branches are in compliance with HR Policies, guidelines, and local, state and federal employment •Travel to locations for investigations, development of leadership, presenting and training in Market Meetings, and interviewing future leadership.
