Performs yearly disaster recovery tests with all lines of business. • Ensures that the security of all group production services is maintained at the highest possible level including data encryption. • Ensures that all database systems have fully functional offsite backups which are checked daily and restore-tested on a quarterly basis. Responsible for the disaster recovery readiness database system and will assist and advise lines of business and management as to the readiness of these systems. • Ensures that appropriate diagrams and documentation describing all facets of the production environment are kept up to date and maintained to a high standard. • Advanced ETL and Reporting Development with enhanced SSIS/SSRS standards and end-to-end business delivery. • Knowledgeable using PowerShell scripting. Designed a disaster recovery process using PowerShell to failover clustered SQL servers between data centers.
