Responsible for supporting the CFO in all aspects of the financial management of a $100 million electrical contracting company and modernizing its operations from paper to more efficient electronic financial platforms companywide. • Implemented, uploaded, and programmed an entirely new payroll system (Paylocity) for 140 employees, a new accounting system (NetSuite), a new credit card system (Corpay), and a new digital signature system (DocuSign). The implementation process included training and writing the training material for managers and employees as well as being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and IT support for all questions from employees. • Updated and rewrote the Employee Manual and 401(k) Guide to reflect the electronic changes within the company. • Reorganized and rewrote the G/L codes, Department codes, and Job Costing codes for billing. • Developed cost-effective, streamlined procedures and Excel spreadsheets & dashboards to achieve more efficient and effective monthly financial statement preparation, 15 monthly expense reports, and payroll & 401(k) benefits. • Oversight of G/L maintenance & reconciliations, monthly overhead allocations, fixed assets, bank reconciliations A/P&A/R management and assisting the audit firm with Financial Audit and 401(k) Audit. • Managed and reviewed the accurate and timely recording, approval, and posting of all credit card activity. Brokered a deal with the credit card company that increased the credit line to $4 million that produced in spend rebates. • Established and maintained Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) payments for subcontractors to reduce paper checks • Created statement of work (SOW) for contractors to further upgrade and modernize the Accounting and Payroll systems. • Reorganized employee financial documents (401k, ACH, Payroll) in English and Spanish
