ABOUT JEREMY BELOLO
I make engineering teams faster, better, and harder to break.Over 16 years, I\'ve led technical teams through the full spectrum: legacy monolith-to-microservices migrations, AI agent and LLM integration, mobile product launches, and greenfield architecture from zero. I\'ve done it as a CTO, a Technical Lead, a lone developer, and a solo founder — always shipping, always raising the bar.At BrainPOP, I lead a squad of 6 engineers as the team\'s technical north star. I\'ve driven the integration of generative AI across our product suite, and have been pushing devs to adopt modern capabilities and be curious, enabling the team to ship AI features at a pace that wouldn\'t have been possible otherwise. When the architecture needs a hard call, when something breaks in production, when product asks \"is this possible?\" — I\'m the one who answers. What I built in my spare time tells you more than my CV: Buddzy is a production social gaming app — live on Google Play and the App Store — that I designed and built as a personal project. Full 5-project TypeScript monorepo: Node.js + Fastify + tRPC backend, React Native + Expo mobile app (iOS + Android), serverless image and video generation pipelines on AWS Lambda, AI content via Google Gemini/Imagen + OpenAI + Replicate. I built this from zero, in my free time, while holding a full-time tech lead role. That\'s the pace I work at.I\'m fluent in three languages (French, English, Hebrew; I even speak a bit of Japanese) and have built and shipped products across multiple countries and tech stacks. I always had a passion for solving complex problems. Continually honing my skills and getting better at what I do is not a job; it\'s a way of life. When approaching a project, I\'m always looking for ways to remove complexity and optimize performance. Can\'t be satisfied with half baked solutions and quick hacks.Looking for my next chapter: Senior Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Engineering Director at a product company where technical quality and engineering velocity both matter. Open to remote for the right role.
