ABOUT JERRY PEPRAH OWUSU
As a Research Associate in the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory- Center for Understanding Subsurface Signals and Permeability Energy Earthshot, I contribute to the development of numerical models and simulations to predict and control fluid flow through fracture networks in enhanced geothermal systems. I provide essential models and databases that facilitate the efficient design of enhanced geothermal systems. I also collaborate with the US scientific and national laboratories through co-operations and joint projects.I completed my PhD in Earth Sciences - Computational Geoscience at the University of Bern, where I also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for atomistic simulations of fluids and solids. I have a Master of Science ETH in Engineering Geology from ETH Zürich, where I worked as a Research Assistant on geomechanical design of an underground research laboratory. My core competencies include geotechnical engineering, geoenvironmental engineering, and computer programming. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to solve complex and multidisciplinary problems in the fields of science and engineering. I am keen to explore new opportunities, connect with fellow professionals, and advance my career.
