ABOUT JERRY LWAMBA
I am excited to introduce myself as an IT/Cybersecurity learner, currently pursuing a Master\'s degree of Professional Studies in IT. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Cybersecurity, and through my coursework, I have gained a fundamental understanding of the DevOps lifecycle. I have completed several class projects using languages such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, Node.js. These projects have enabled me to gain hands-on experience in software development, automation, and deployment. Through these experiences, I have developed a strong understanding of the importance of collaboration and communication in the software development process. In particular to Cybersecurity, I have experience in network application and web application penetration testing from platforms such as HackTheBox, TCM Security, TryHackMe, and INE. These experiences have allowed me to tackle a range of network applications such as Active Directory, Windows servers, etc. In my home labs, I have developed a strong understanding of system administration, as well as how to test and secure systems. With my academic background and enthusiasm in IT, I am actively seeking entry positions in IT/Cybersecurity. I am confident that my knowledge and skills would make me a valuable addition to any team for which I am eager to continue learning and growing in my career.
