Manage the overall conversion and implementation of a variety of technology tools and associated software, allocate and manage financial and staff resources, and develop project timelines, priorities, schedules, and deadlines to achieve project goals.• Create, maintain, and refine detailed project plans, ensuring the involvement of appropriate stakeholders to achieve an effective and efficient workflow and process.• Develop, assign, and monitor appropriate project roles and responsibilities.• Allocate and/or monitor project funds within the budget approved by the Board of Commissioners of Chatham County and prepare budget status report.• Work closely with technical and programming staff in the ICS Department on various conversion and implementation processes and issues and serve as liaison between appropriate stakeholders.• Make oral and written presentations on the status of projects and other matters.• Consult with Vendor(s), Department Head or Official, Purchasing, ICS staff, and appropriate others on matters relating to data conversion, workflows, work processes, training, data security levels, public access, reporting needs, scheduling phases of work and evaluating successful completion, insuring quality control, monitoring testing, overseeing deployment and eventually closing out the project.• Verify data conversions for accuracy and integrity through testing and observation and ensure quality and consistency of database information.• Resolve problems and conflicts or recommend possible solutions for problems.• Oversee the launch of the completed management system and provide or supervise the provision of training to end users.• Ensure that technical manuals, protocols, and guidance are provided during implementation for proper documentation of processes, workflows, and system usage.• Ensure appropriate project closure by conducting post-implementation evaluations and providing feedback.
