Oversee all activities of the division to operate the hospitals Plant Operations, Security, Bio-Med, Emergency Management and Safety departments. Cut unnecessary vendor overtime for service work that could be done during normal business hours. Tighten controls on the purchasing process significantly reducing the amount of non-po request for service and supplies by more than 50%. Realigning positions to new missions to reduce the reliance on vendors that do preventive maintenance saving the organization $100k annually. Coordinate fast track construction project with US Army Corp of Engineers on creating Covid-19 Alternate Care Site surge capacity. Develop an automated EOC rounding tool leveraging the existing work order system to make the process more efficient with usable data to gauge the effectiveness of the program. Participate, develop hospital policies including hazard surveillance and incident reporting. Coordinate on-going data collection using 4DX to implement opportunities for improvement in the environment of care. Works cooperatively with Metro Government and City/State advisory committees regarding land use, building code and accessibility issues. Evaluate new projects and modernization requests in the existing facility while developing capital projects and executing long range plans for a new hospital facility. Oversee the planning, assignment and coordination of all activities of the division to operate the hospitals Facilities, Security, Bio-Med, Emergency Management and Safety departments.Assess compliance with the EoC, LS programs and manage changes with the Statement of Conditions. Chairs EOC, LS, EM and Space committees. Participate in Infection Control and other committees.
