   Technical Manager of Tescom USA Austin Calibration Laboratory.\"Working Manager,\" involving regularly performing calibrations and repairs to more complex RF/microwave instruments, and an assortment of test equipment. Responsible for daily operations as well as work as a technician as needed to minimize backlog, Responsible for leading/training calibration technical staff, and writing original calibration methods/procedures. Develop uncertainty calculations for ISO17025 Accredited calibrations. In charge of scope expansions to ISO17025 scope of accreditation. Major projects include work toward startup and operation of high accuracy electrical standards laboratory. This includes DC volts with bank of Zener references (Fluke 732A/B, etc.); AC volts with Fluke 792A and 5790A; resistance calibrations with Thomas 1 Ohm and ESI SR104 10K Ohm primary resistance standards. Also actively involved in bench calibrations; which normally includes technological high end instruments. Develop procedures and methods as needed, provide technical support to technical staff for difficult calibrations, and some electronic repair work. Responsible for labs compliance to IEC/ISO17025. Develop and maintain lab measurement uncertainty budgets.Involved in pricing and some marketing related support.Responsible for planning, developing and conducting training for technical personnel in Calibration Services Division. Includes day to day direct oversight of all in-situ training needs for metrology technical staff.
