Jerry brings over 25 years of proven leadership building and scaling nationwide commercial lending platforms. As an industry entrepreneur and seasoned dealmaker, Jerry has closed over $10 billion in capital markets transactions and an additional $10+ billion in commercial loans spanning specialty finance firms and top-25 bank platforms.Before A10, Jerry served as Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff at Bank of the West ($65 billion assets), where he was a direct report to the CEO and Vice Chairman and helped manage the bank’s largest business group, overseeing employees and a $25 billion balance sheet. He previously co-founded and led Aviation Finance Group—a middle-market equipment finance business specializing in private jets—culminating in its acquisition by PNC Bank in 2004. Earlier, Jerry was involved in the startup of Commercial Lending Corporation (CLC) and played a key role in its successful exit in 1997. He began his career as a Wall Street investment banker with Dean Witter Reynolds in New York City.Honored as EY Entrepreneur of the Year (Utah, 2015), Jerry is an active member of YPO’s Real Estate Industry Network. A former Division I quarterback at the University of Florida and Colorado State (full athletic scholarships), he graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Economics. Jerry is also a certified public accountant (inactive).

A10 Capital provides short-term transitional bridge loans and long-term permanent loans on stabilized assets. Loan sizes for single assets are between $5MM-$50MM+ and portfolio loans are available up to $200MM. A10 Capital will lend in a variety of markets and property types.The Company’s platform is primarily in-house—beginning at origination, through the underwriting/closing process, and is serviced internally throughout the life of the loan.
