ABOUT JERRY CHAVERS

Mr. Chavers has over 40 years experience in the utility/power industry. He has extensive experience utilizing CAD and 3D modeling software for design, layout, and drafting. He has been involved with projects in Hydro, Fossil, and Nuclear power plant design and modification. These projects include Steam Generator Replacement from conceptual design through implementation, steam generator storage facilities, spent fuel storage, and numerous station modifications for the Nuclear Industry. In addition, he has experience with combined cycle gas plant design, hydro refurbishment, and coal-fired plant design and modification. He was involved with the design of the latest generation Nuclear Power Plant applying for design certification in the U.S. where he supervised a group responsible for providing support to the Civil/Structural, and Mechanical/Layout disciplines. He also supervised a group of Designers providing design and support for the ITER Fusion Reactor Project and supervised Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Designers responsible for supporting multiple Installed Base Nuclear Power Plant mods and projects.
