About Jerry Campbell

Born and raised in a small town in Michigan I learned how to deal with challenges, adversity, and hard work. I played sports and pushed myself to be the best athlete I could be. Of course, that challenge and ambition gravitated me toward the Special Operations community. Fast forward 20 years and I have finished this first phase of an incredible, exciting, exhilarating life. I have developed core competencies in data analysis, international relations, and homeland security. I have been sent on missions to protect and serve our nation and its allies, train the next generation of the nation’s most lethal operators, and navigate challenges throughout the world that most people will never see. I am proud to say I have been a part of the Special Operations community where I have been able to contribute to strategic goals, visions, and operations in a global capacity.In my previous role, I was responsible for conducting large-scale operations moving people and equipment throughout the world. I collaborated with numerous international partners, different Department of Defense agencies, and contractors to accomplish operations with diverse objectives. I loved being challenged with difficult problem sets and tasks that involve implementing innovation. I also gained valuable insight and perspectives from interacting with different cultures and stakeholders that enriched my professional and personal growth.In my current role as an SRE, I’ll help ensure reliability, availability, and performance of company’s software systems and infrastructure.
