As the Public Inebriate Program Coordinator, I coordinate the scheduling and program functions within a voluntary shelter program, oversee staff, coordinate training of Sobriety Support Workers, provide direct peer support to clients, provide referral sources to individuals who are interested in recovery steps as well as immediate arrangement for clinical appointments, direct supervision of the Sobriety Support Team, hire and train staff, develop welcoming programs, monitor all support notes and discharge paperwork for the program, coordinate transportation for participants within the program to immediate follow-up referral sources, promote and develop growth of peer support team services through arrangement and provision of on-going education to staff related to recovery services, promote the Public Inebriate Program to the general public as well as build relationships with local and state law enforcement officers, and gather all pertinent information for reporting to the Vermont State Legislature to remain compliant with all funding requirements.
