About Jerred Endsley
As a Local Recovery Coordinator at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, I am passionate about providing effective and compassionate care to Veterans & Patients with mental health and substance use disorders. I have over eight years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, specializing in evidence-based individual and group psychotherapies, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. I have also been recognized for my teaching and supervision skills, as well as my involvement in research and training on psychotherapies for psychosis. I have collaborated with Harvard Medical School affiliates, such as Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, as a presenter, instructor, and supervisor. My mission is to bring evidence-based compassion and mindfulness treatments to providers and patients for lifelong healing
Experience
Founder
Mountain Mindfulness Psychotherapy & Holistic Healing
Jan 2019 — Present · Grand Junction, CO, US
At Mountain Mindfulness, I help capable, caring people who’ve carried too much for too long.Whether it\'s Veterans, first responders, or everyday people navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, or an unnamed internal battle. Many arrive on the edge of exhaustion or perfectionism.quietly wondering how to keep giving when they feel so depleted. I founded Mountain Mindfulness to create a grounded, evidence-informed space for healing; where insight and practicality meet. My work blends evidence-based psychotherapy with mindfulness and compassion-based approaches to help people reconnect with steadiness, meaning, and their natural resilience. The aim isn’t self-improvement; it’s self-understanding. We learn to quiet the noise, steady the nervous system, and rediscover the quiet joy and aliveness that once came so naturally in childhood. My background bridges clinical rigor with contemplative practice. I completed post-graduate training at a Harvard Medical School affiliate, served as a Recovery Coordinator with the Veterans Affairs, and later led the Bachelor of Social Work Program at Colorado Mesa University. Across these roles, I’ve guided individuals and professionals alike through trauma recovery, burnout, and moral injury.always returning to the same truth: healing begins in how we relate to our own experience.
