Work in close collaboration with our Executive Leadership Team, Manufacturing VPs, VP of Engineering, Site Directors, and Regional EHS Managers to manage our reactive hazards and drive Corporate risk reduction initiatives- Lead and manage EHS Capital projects through stage-gate process and report progress to the Executive Leadership Team and Manufacturing VPs quarterly- Lead and manage a global Corporate initiative to make our batch reactions inherently safer for several facilities located in different geographies with different regulatory contexts- Develop and implement a global strategy for reducing combustible dust risks for all operations at all sites- Spearhead a global effort of harmonizing and standardizing risk assessment and management practices across the company using HAZOP and LOPA methodologies- Evaluate hazards of raw materials (flammability, combustibility, reactivity) and streamline our Vendor Material Qualification processes- Audit our What If/HAZOP/LOPA and independent protection layers (IPLs), present recommendations to Manufacturing VPs, create corrective actions with Benchmark Gensuite EHS information management system, and track their implementation- Provide on-demand technical support for all our manufacturing sites (USA, Europe, Middle-East, Asia-Pacific and India): process safety information management, What If/HAZOP/LOPA using Sphera\'s Advanced Risk Assessment software, combustible dust hazards analysis, reactive hazards screening and characterization, pressure relief and effluent handling sizing, consequence modeling and facility siting using DNV PHAST software- Identify, evaluate, and manage our process safety contractors (consultants and testing laboratories)- Created and updated our Corporate policies on DHA, LOPA, reactive hazards evaluation and pressure relief design.

I am a Corporate Process Safety Leader with 20+ years of global experience spanning multiple industries and roles – from process safety engineer, consultant, advisor, technical support to the regulator, to research scientist and editor.
