FTTP• Developed and tested an automated traffic capture mechanism using Ethernet TAPs, T-shark/Lua scripts and real-time python analysis for FTTP home traffic analysis; deployed the setup in 10 live FTTP homes and the data was later used for offline analysis.• Implemented and presented an innovative low-power algorithm for ONUs using C++ for the XGSPON simulator in ns-3• Implemented algorithms in RStudio to allocate new customers to existing fibre network (parallel processing in R, optimised for efficient execution and greedy validation)IoT• Designed new IoT platform features; produced HLD/architecture diagrams/implementation plan for live IoT solutions, based on requirements from customers and internal Bus, navigating technical-budgetary-business-security challenges• Worked with and tested several vendor IoT devices on BLE, WebSocket, Wi-Fi, Modbus, MQTT and CAN Bus, for new IoT solution development; configured the devices for integration with AWS IoT Core, Raspberry Pi, GCP and Ubuntu OS • Implemented a python-based automated script and tested the BLE Proxy behaviour as implemented in the RPi, for processing several types of BLE beacons frames from ESP32. • Oversaw developers and ASG personnel to plan and deploy new features to live IoT platforms (on-prem and AWS); responsible for quarterly and annual migration and reviews of all aspects of the IoT platforms (security, identity, access, software and change requests)ML/Statistical Diagnostics for Wi-Fi• Developed and delivered pseudocode, code (R and Shiny), documentation (HLD, LLD) and PoC (dashboard and algorithms) to downstream the solutions to the BUs• Hands-on working experience in GCP (Big Query), Hadoop (SQL for Hive/Impala) and R statistical packages (Caret, Psych, Dplyr) for querying, processing, cleaning, interpolating and analysing data• Contributed to the IPR portfolio of the applied research team in BT – four(4) granted patents, one (1) filed and three (3) more in the pipeline.
